For a trust executive with a contract expiring

The Renewal Room

A twelve-month decision simulation, played one meeting at a time.

You are the executive lead of a five-school trust. Your management information system, two intervention platforms and one AI marking tool all renew inside the same academic year. Nobody has read the exit clauses. Each decision below moves three positions: how much of the estate you own, how well you can tell what works, and how much credibility you hold with heads and governors.

The scenario is composed from field research with trusts responsible for around 50,000 students. The argument underneath it is set out in Education in the Age of the Builder.
